Performs maintenance and repair activities necessary to ensure the safe and reliable operating condition of all ski lifts; assists with Lift Operations staff supervision. Requirements: 5 yrs experience ski lift maintenance or closely related field including experience safely operating heavy equipment or equivalent combo. Proficiency using hand tools, hydraulics, rigging, heavy lifting, power tools, test equipment, etc. Strong electrical background preferred. Good physical strength & stamina. Strong mechanical, electrical, diagnostic/troubleshooting, training & customer service skills. Good math/computer skills & able to read/comprehend electrical & hydraulic schematics. Good organizational & recordkeeping skills. Positively deal with changing circumstances & effectively communicate (in-person & written). Ski/board all levels of terrain & possess a valid DL. Deal courteously & efficiently with staff & the public; function well in adverse weather conditions. Lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. & work safely at heights. Work a schedule that includes long hours, weekends & holidays. Rate: $29.66 - $35.59/hr. DOE/DOQ.
